We went apple picking today. The kids had a great time with the petting farm and, of course, picking apples. I didn't get many shots of the actual picking as the kids tended to disappear into the tree itself. We didn't go too crazy picking apples but got enough to have some fun with them this week! I am so happy autumn is upon us!
We have been in the market for bunk beds for quite some time. Thanks to the wonders of Craig's List and lots of time watching the site we are now proud owners! The kids, needless to say, love them. They have shared a bed for so long but there is no regret into changing the trend when something so fun takes its place. Not that I could get an angle to fit the beds in the picture, but really, it's the ones that sleep in them that you probably want to see anyway!
Wynn is sporting the newest hat style that I am knitting. My friend, Carrie, wanted hats like this for her girls. So, I made one first in this yarn color for her baby. Then chose a new color for her baby (and her girls). Brian made a comment about any time you say something is cute and laugh at the same time, it isn't a good thing. Luckily for the hat, Brian is at work when I take Wynn places! :o)
Where is all the knitting happening??? Our handy, dandy hyper baric oxygen chamber, of course! It's rented for this month and is very condusive to knitting and reading if Wynn is napping while we are on the inside (Brian is in it for this shot).
Did I really miss all of August??? Well, I will back track just a bit at the bottom and then simply move ahead...
We stared Fall soccer Thursday. Kylie LOVES her new coach! It seems Ms. Dana really can teach the game and Kylie enjoys all of it! Shea started soccer as well! His coach, Ms. Jonie is fabulous as well. He enjoyed soccer SO much and put his all into following the directions. Shea ran like the wind and kicked that ball with all his might! It is something else to watch three year olds learn soccer. So cute! I am required to stay with him so unless I have reinforcements there will be lots of Shea pictures and not so many Kylie shots.

Last but not least! For Kylie, all three of her birthday wishes came true! A visit from Aunt Bean, Build-a Bear (or Build-a-Dog in her case) and the big surprise, an American Girl doll.
